Pin-up attempt #1
Well, I did manage to play a bit again, thanks to the easy makeup remover and disposable face cloths and stuff. So I decided to play a bit. I loaded up Kandee's pin up tutorial and listened to it a few times more. Then I started copying. Yay for the pause button. I don't have the same quality of eye shadows and I don't have the same colours, but I just went for more the same type of colour. Highlighting, greyish, dark, etc.
I have fairly heavy eyelids and they fold over to nearly touching my lash line, so I did have a bit of an issue with the wing tip. The one worked out really well, but the other... not so much, and it ended up in the right shape, but quite a bit larger than the first. It also doesn't help that when I don't have so much weight on my eyelids, they actually fold in different shapes, so I've always had an issue getting my eyes to look the same.
So, yeah. It's my first attempt at anything that isn't my kids halloween make up or my daily make up which is normally mascara, a bit of light shadow and a neutral lip colour. I think all in all, it came out much better than I expected.
Make it a great day!

Wow, Kimmie...this is a beautiful shot. My first thought was, "what flawless skin..." I love the red lipstick too - it's such a simply elegant look that can be worn everyday. You did a great job!
